In these days of mysterious Black Holes,

considering

the transcontinental flight

of the mighty Monarch,

Aunt Polly’s precocious provocative pet Portuguese parrot,

my peeping feathered friends flittering about the seed feeder,

the capabilities of micro-chips

and miniaturization in the extreme,

“bird brain” may be more a high compliment

than an insult!
